Stories of Canadian Navy Wives
Since men began sailing around the world, their wives stayed behind and looked after things at home – a practice that continues to this day. They must raise children, repair homes and autos, deal with every crisis and keep their family together all on their own. Hundreds of Navy wives from across Canada were interviewed and Dianne Taylor has woven their stories in an enthralling book.
