Author Biography

Philip Symons has always had a passion for the environment and social justice. In recent years he was presented with the Social Justice Award of the Canadian Unitarian Council (2018) and the Valued Elder Recognition Award of the Institute of Ageing and Lifelong Health, University of Victoria (2019). He has melded these passions for the environment and social justice with writing young adult fiction, giving birth to a series of thought-provoking adventure stories of which Fender Habour’s Secret Agents is just one.
